Going slowly here will give you time to reposition the tubing as you go if required. Position your side tube in the cover and start at one end, ensuring that the ends of the side tube are pushed into the ends of the cover as you go. The next step is to slide the side tube into the cover. Once the pad is in place, rezip this section (don’t forget the handy zipper tip above!). Going slowly and ensuring that the mattress pad is flat once in place, and smoothing out any bumps or folds, will help to ensure that the pad stays nice and flat for bub to lay on. To fit the cover back on, start with putting your mattress pad back in the base of your cover. Once everything is unzipped, simply remove the side tubing and mattress pad.

A good tip for the zips is to place one of your fingers on the underside of the zipper between the zip and the inner side tubing to ensure that the zip does not catch or damage these parts. Changing the cover on your Dock is actually a lot simpler than many people think! The first step is to unzip and remove the cover from the Dock side tube and mattress pad – there are two zips that will need to be opened for this. We find that it can be very helpful to have a spare cover available for those moments when a spot clean just doesn’t cut it!Ī. With a spare cover, you can have one cover on your Dock while the other is in the wash. While you don’t need a spare cover to be able to use our Docks (as the assembled Docks do come with a cover already fitted and ready to go), a lot of people do find having a spare cover very useful.
